Can you be Greek and Christian?
The answer is yes! Greek InterVarsity is the place where being Greek and Christian come together. In fact, being in a fraternity or sorority can be one of the best places to grow and be challenged in your faith. NU Greek InterVarsity is part of a national movement of Fraternity and Sorority students present on over 90 campuses across the country. Follow us on Twitter or join our Facebook group. Interested in joining Greek life? Check out the Northwestern Fraternity and Sorority Life website.
Thursday Nights
Greek InterVarsity gathers every Thursday night from 8-9:15pm. We leave judgements at the door, making this a safe place for anyone exploring how faith and greek life intersect. Every week we’ll look at a passage from the Bible and discuss how it relates to us today as Northwestern greeks. And of course there’ll be music, food and plenty of fun!
4/4/13 – Andy’s Custard - Just come and hang out! (Meet at the Arch at 8pm)
4/11/13 – (Im)perfectionism 101 - How (not) to have it all together – As NU Greeks, we’re great at looking like we have it all together, but what if God has a different idea of how we should live our lives? (Annenberg 256)
4/18/13 - Chapter Ministry Training - Everyone is welcome! - Are you interested in having a spiritual influence in your chapter? This week we’ll be discussing practical ways you can do that. (Annenberg 256)
4/25/13 – (Im)perfectionism 101 – Guest Speaker – Why do Christians pretend to be so perfect? – From headline news stories to personal encounters, it’s seem that nearly everyone has been hurt by a Christian who says one thing and does the opposite. If you’ve ever wondered how belief if Christianity is possible in the face of hypocrisy in the Church, this night is for you. (Annenberg 256)
5/2/13 – (Im)perfectionism 101 – How (not) to have a perfect relationship - Are you looking for the perfect relationship? A soul-mate who fulfills you in every way? In this discussion, we’ll contrast God’s plan for romantic relationships with the leading views of mainstream culture. (Annenberg 256)
5/9/13 – Chapter Ministry Training - Everyone is welcome! - Are you interested in having a spiritual influence in your chapter? This week we’ll be discussing practical ways to do that. (Annenberg 256)
5/16/13 – (Im)perfectionism 101 - How (not) to have a perfect resume - Be the most well-rounded. Have the best resume. Get the perfect job. Have the best life. This is what college is about, right? (Annenberg 256)
5/23/13 - (Im)perfectionism 101 - How (not) to have a perfect future (Annenberg 256)
5/30/13 – Senior Sendoff – Come celebrate our graduating seniors! (Annenberg 256)

Chapter Ministries
Our goal is to establish a student-led ministry in every fraternity and sorority on campus. We’re all about bringing Jesus to where people are at and we’ve found that the best way to do this is by leading a regular Bible study in your chapter house or apartment with fellow brothers and sisters. Visit our chapter ministries page to meet our current leaders!
